Text 512-788-8009 and tell me roughly what's going on and where you are. We'll settle on a time.
You fill out a short intake form before I arrive, so I know what's safe for you ahead of time.
We talk through what you're after and what you want to spend, and pick the drip that fits both.
Scroll, watch TV, take a call, nap. Most infusions run 45–60 minutes.
Everything leaves with me. You carry on with your day.
I'm Melissa Rhatigan, an Austin nurse of 20 years. Starting IVs and assessing patients is what I've done and taught for a long time. Fifteen of those years were in the ER, with a background in phlebotomy behind that — your veins are safe with me.
I've always been passionate about vitamins, nutrients, minerals, and holistic care. That's what brought me to this work, and it's why I believe in what I'm bringing to your door.
I'm the one who answers your text, and I'm the one who shows up. No dispatcher, no rotating roster, no upselling you on something you don't need. If I don't think an IV is the right call for what you're describing, I'll tell you that instead. That's what the name is meant to say — same nurse, every time.

Plan on about an hour from when I arrive. That includes vital signs, the infusion itself, and cleanup. Your intake form is completed before I get there, so none of that hour is spent on paperwork.
You'll feel the stick, and that's about it. Between the ER years and phlebotomy, difficult veins are familiar territory — including on people who've been told they're a hard stick.

IV fluids aren't appropriate for everyone. Your health history will be reviewed before every visit to ensure the treatment is safe for you, and I'll decline the appointment if it isn't. If you're acutely ill, call your physician or go to an emergency room.
